In my life, I've learned an important lesson about pausing before reacting, thanks to God and Al-Anon. When we pause and take a breath before responding, it changes how things turn out.
When we feel upset or challenged, it's natural to react quickly. But God teaches us to take a moment to think before we speak or act. This pause allows us to consider our actions and choose a better way to respond.
Al-Anon, a group that helps families and friends of alcoholics, also teaches this important lesson. They remind us that taking a breath can shift the energy of a situation. It gives us time to calm down and make a thoughtful choice.
I've found that pausing helps me avoid saying things I might regret later. It gives me a chance to think about how my words or actions will affect others. Sometimes, just a few seconds of silence can make a big difference in how things unfold.
So, whether I'm facing a difficult moment or enjoying a happy one, I try to remember to pause and breathe. It's a simple practice that God and Al-Anon have taught me, and it continues to guide me in making better choices every day.

With love and gratitude - please keep moving forward on your path let the past go and let anger leave and love replace your heart and thoughts. If you have moved on then keep moving. You gottawanna be free.
