No matter what we do, there will always be people who hold on to negative thoughts. Some people seem to carry anger, bitterness, and sadness everywhere they go. They don’t just keep it inside—they spread it to others. They say they only want to help, but deep down, negativity is what gives them purpose. Without it, they wouldn’t know who they are.
At times, these people may try to pull us into their storm. They may criticize, judge, or act as if they know what’s best. They refuse to look at themselves because facing their own lives is too painful. Instead, they focus on the faults of others. They blame, gossip, and complain.
It can be easy to fall into anger toward these people. It’s tempting to fight back, prove them wrong, or shut them out completely. But when we do this, we let their negativity take root in us. We start carrying their burden instead of living in the light of love and peace.
So how do we rise above it? How do we keep from becoming bitter or full of hate? The answer is surrender—surrendering to God’s will and trusting in His purpose.
Letting Go of the Need to Fight
Surrendering doesn’t mean letting people walk all over us. It doesn’t mean pretending negativity doesn’t exist. Instead, it means choosing not to let it control our hearts.
God calls us to love, even when others make it difficult. When we surrender to His will, we learn that we don’t have to fix everyone or change their minds. We don’t have to waste energy trying to make negative people see the truth. That is God’s job, not ours.
Instead, we can focus on our own purpose—to love, to serve, and to bring light into the world. We can surrender our anger and frustration to God and ask Him to replace it with peace.
Finding Strength in God's Purpose
God did not put us here to carry the weight of the world’s negativity. He put us here to be of maximum service to His children. That means showing love, kindness, and patience, even when others try to bring us down.
When we surrender to God’s will, we gain strength beyond our own understanding. We stop trying to control what others do and instead focus on what we can do.
We can pray for those who are lost in negativity.
We can choose to speak words of kindness instead of anger.
We can set boundaries while still having compassion.
We can serve others with love, not bitterness.
God’s purpose for us is far greater than the negativity of this world. He wants us to shine, not to be weighed down by the darkness around us.
Living in Love, Not Hate
Negativity will always exist, but so will God’s love. It is up to us to decide which one will shape our hearts.
By surrendering to God, we let go of resentment. We stop wasting energy on people who refuse to see the truth. Instead, we live in love. We become a light for those who are ready to change.
Not everyone will choose the path of peace, but we can. We can surrender the fight, trust in God’s plan, and keep our hearts open to love.
And in doing so, we find true strength. We find peace. We find freedom.
Because when we surrender to God’s will, no amount of negativity can take away our purpose.

Love is love and hate is hate - you can't spew hate and say it's because I love you in anyway. You gottawanna be free and move forward it's OK let it go move on.
