Today, we invite you to reflect on choosing gratitude. When your plans get disrupted, it’s easy to feel frustrated or upset. But through the support of a sponsor and a home group, I've learned the power of resetting my mindset and finding reasons to be thankful, even in challenging moments.

Imagine this: your day is going smoothly, and suddenly, something unexpected happens. Maybe a project doesn’t go as planned, or a friend cancels your plans. It’s in these moments that I turn to the lessons I’ve learned from my sponsor and my home group. They’ve shown me that instead of dwelling on what went wrong, I can pause, say a quick prayer, and think of one thing—no matter how small—that I can be grateful for right then.

My sponsor, a wise and caring mentor, taught me that gratitude is a choice. It’s not about ignoring difficulties but about shifting my focus to acknowledge the good things, however tiny they may seem. For instance, when a meeting ran longer than expected, instead of feeling impatient, I started appreciating the opportunity to connect with others and share our experiences.

Similarly, my home group has been a supportive community where I can openly discuss my challenges and victories. Together, we celebrate progress, no matter how small, and encourage each other to find gratitude in every situation. Whether it’s a sunny day after a week of rain or a kind word from a friend, we remind ourselves that gratitude transforms our perspective.

The journey with my sponsor and home group has taught me that gratitude isn’t just a fleeting feeling but a daily practice. It’s about choosing to see the good, even amidst difficulties, and finding joy in everyday moments. So today, as you navigate your own challenges, I invite you to join me in choosing gratitude. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and name one thing you’re thankful for. You might be surprised at how this simple act can brighten your day and uplift your spirit.

I love you and you gottawanna find your way - move on with peace and love stop hating
