Coming Together for a Common Purpose

Sometimes, life can feel really tough. When things get hard, it's important to know that we don't have to face everything alone. In fact, there are special groups that can help us, like Al-Anon. Let me tell you a story about how I found help and friendship in Al-Anon.

What is Al-Anon?

Al-Anon is a group where people come together to support each other. It's a place where we can talk about our problems and find comfort. Al-Anon helps people who have family members or friends with drinking problems. It's not just for the person with the problem, but for everyone who cares about them.

Finding a Sponsor and a Group

When I joined Al-Anon, I met a wonderful person who became my sponsor. A sponsor is like a guide who helps you understand the program and supports you along the way. My sponsor listened to me and gave me good advice. With their help, I felt stronger and more hopeful.

In my Al-Anon group, I met other people who had similar experiences. We shared our stories, and I realized I wasn't alone. Everyone in the group was kind and understanding. We came together to help each other, and it felt good to be part of such a caring community.

Helping Others and Honoring God

One of the best parts about Al-Anon is learning to help others. When we share our experiences, we can give hope to someone who is struggling. By being there for each other, we show kindness and love. This is a special way to honor God, who teaches us to love and support one another.

A Common Purpose

Our common purpose in Al-Anon is to help each other heal and grow. We do this by listening, sharing, and caring. With the help of my sponsor and my group, I learned that we can face any challenge when we come together. We find strength in our unity, and we become better people.

Joining Al-Anon has been a blessing. It taught me the importance of coming together for a common purpose. With the support of my sponsor and my group, I learned to help others, honor God, and find peace. If you ever feel like you need help, remember that there are people who care and want to support you. You don't have to do it alone. Together, we are stronger.

You gottawanna be of service with peace and love take care enjoy your life we love you
